Following numerous discussions with the LPA dating back to 2015, and a positive response to a formal pre-application enquiry, Wessex Planning submitted a planning application for the redevelopment of the site involving the demolition of the existing residential dwelling and replacement with a contemporary two and a half storey building containing eight apartments.
The various site constraints, including protected trees, neighbouring amenity, parking, access and landscaping, to name a few, necessitated a design evolution to arrive at the final proposals.
Working with the architect and all other technical consultants, we were able to produce a comprehensive planning statement demonstrating that all requirements of the adopted Local Plan were met.
Planning permission was therefore granted, providing the opportunity to redevelop this site to provide much needed, well-designed housing in a sustainable location.
