Sometimes the smallest of proposals causes the Local Planning Authority the most difficulties!
A diminutive bungalow extension within the Conservation Area in Sparsholt, caused the Local Planning Authority and neighbours much consternation. Wessex Planning Ltd was able to dampen down these concerns through a demonstration of the minimal impact of the proposals within the street scene.
Reminding the Local Planning Authority of the kinetic nature of the minimal street level views into the site, Wessex Planning Ltd worked with the architect and client to build a solution to the objections. Producing a choice of alternative options for the planning and conservation officer, including external finishes, was key to an eventual approval of planning permission.
